Huge Alligators at Deep Hole in Myakka State Park Florida

Exploring the DEEP HOLE…. Yes we had fun doing it, yes it was an adventure, yes we need a special pass, and yes we filmed too much of it. Or was it not enough. You can decide. Here’s clips of just the alligators!

Thank you to Hike It Florida who did a write up about this amazing site. I had never heard of it.

Its  2 miles down a dirt road without many signs. We were surrounded by safari of Florida trees and tall grass. Then a woods and a dramatic opening to what is known as “Deep Hole” in the 7,500-acre wilderness preserve part of Myakka River State Park. This amazing view takes a bit to get to and regular tour companies don’t visit this area.
